Rotating crews, short-term specialist contractors, and remote site deployments require precise permit management

Regulatory scrutiny in financial services demands meticulous compliance — our audit service is designed for this
🌾

Agriculture & Agribusiness

International farming operations, agri-tech investors, and food-processing companies all require specialist skills from abroad. We support agribusiness clients from initial permit to long-term workforce management.

📡

Telecoms & Technology

As Zimbabwe's tech ecosystem grows, so does demand for specialist skills not available locally. We work with telecoms operators and technology companies to bring senior talent in quickly and compliantly.

The pace of tech deployment demands fast permit turnaround — we prioritise speed without cutting compliance corners
🏥

Healthcare, NGOs & Development

We needed 31 permits processed simultaneously to hit our project mobilisation date. Other providers said it wasn't possible. Nova Migration did it in 7 weeks and every single permit was approved first time. I won't use anyone else for Zimbabwe.

Corporate Immigration Questions

We handle the full process end-to-end. This includes assessing the correct permit category, issuing the document checklist, collecting and reviewing all documents, preparing the application, submitting it to the Department of Immigration, tracking progress, responding to queries from immigration authorities, and notifying you of the outcome. Your HR team's involvement is minimal — you provide the employee information and supporting company documents; we do everything else.
Rejections are rare with our approach — our 98% first-submission approval rate reflects the thoroughness of our document preparation. In the rare event of a rejection, we review the refusal notice in detail, identify the cause, and advise on the best course of action — whether that is a resubmission with additional evidence or a formal appeal. This support is included within your retainer or professional fee; there is no additional charge for managing a resubmission.
Business visas can be secured in as little as 48–72 hours for retainer clients in genuine emergency situations. Work permits have statutory minimum processing periods, but our priority follow-up service consistently delivers at the faster end of the 6–12 week range. For executive appointments, we also manage the bridge arrangement — securing a business visa for immediate travel while the work permit is processed in parallel.
Yes. This is one of the most important services we provide. Some short-term assignments, secondments, or board roles may not require a full work permit, while others do. Getting this wrong — in either direction — creates risk. We assess every situation individually and provide clear, written guidance on permit obligations before any travel is arranged.
Under the Zimbabwe Immigration Act, employing a foreign national without a valid work permit is a criminal offence. Penalties include significant fines for the employer, potential business licence implications, and deportation of the employee. Directors of companies can face personal liability. This is why proactive permit management and renewal tracking are not optional extras — they are fundamental to protecting your business.
Yes — we manage provider transitions regularly. We start with a compliance audit of your existing permits, identify any issues, and take over management from there. The transition is designed to be seamless for your HR team and your employees. Most clients complete the switch within 2–3 weeks of signing.
